詩・歌詞の英訳をします

自分の言葉を英語にして、
世界の人と繋がりたい、
交流してみたい……
と思ったときに、

今は優秀な翻訳ソフトも出てきているし、
翻訳者も少し探せばたくさんいます。

でも、詩の翻訳は？
詩の翻訳を、誰にでも頼めるだろうか。

もし、信頼していただけるのならば、

詩情は私の強みです。
英語が全く分からないという方は、
どうか私の日本語の感性から
合うかどうか、信頼したいかどうかを
ご判断してください。

直訳・意訳・歌詞の訳

直訳と意訳というのは、
実のところけっこう大雑把な分類で

私の翻訳は、「素直な訳」の部類に入ると思います。
あまりアクロバティックに器用なことはしません。

でも直訳かと言うと、たぶん違うので
表現が難しいですね。

スッと入ってきた日本語が、
私の中で内容になり
それをまたスッと英語にする

その上で、それが
公平な訳かどうか、
原文に対して誠実の範囲に入るか
検討して、整えていきます。

また、歌詞については、
「内容を英語で訳す」
「英語でも歌えるように訳す」
どちらも対応できますが、
「歌えるように訳す」場合は
どうしても分かりやすい直訳
とはいかない場合も多いですので、
その点ご了承ください。

韻（ライム）について

基本的には言葉の意味や情緒、
想起されるイメージや、
原詩・訳詩双方のリズムのバランス、
などを重視して翻訳をするので、
韻を踏むことには重きを置いていません。

原詩の内容によっては、
その辺りももちろん考慮するのですが、
現状「得意」とは言えない状態です。

それをご了承の上で
「できるだけ韻を踏んでほしい」
というご要望があれば、
お伝えください。

できうる限りでは対応したいと思いますが、
あくまで努力目標となることをご了承ください。

Because it has the same form as the spirit of all beings, all the wishes cannot be unfulfilled.
Unsurpassable treasure, the prayer of the divine path.
